Courtney Boes Huber focuses her legal practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense and products liability defense in the health and wellness sector. Courtney has spent more than a decade defending physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other healthcare providers in business and professional disputes. Courtney also represents physicians and other health care providers in contested proceedings and license revocation hearings before their respective licensing agencies, including the Texas Medical Board and Texas Board of Nursing. She also regularly provides counsel to physicians and other health care entities regarding peer review and credentialing matters.
Courtney has successfully defended physicians in cases with significant or multi-million-dollar damage potential in many counties across Texas. Courtney has been named to the Texas Rising Stars List by Super Lawyers, a Thompson Reuters service, in the areas of personal injury-medical malpractice defense and professional liability defense since 2022.
Courtney received her law degree in 2013 from Baylor Law School graduating cum laude. While attending Baylor Law, Courtney served as an associate editor for the Baylor Law Review. She was elected to the Order of the Barristers and participated on the Labor Law Mock Trial Team. She earned her undergraduate degree from Creighton University in 2010, where she majored in Business Administration graduating magna cum laude.
