Casey Campbell is a partner with the firm Schell Cooley Campbell LLP. Mr. Campbell has spent more than a decade focusing his practice on medical malpractice defense and the representation of healthcare providers in all matters of civil litigation. He also represents providers before their licensing boards, and in the peer review process. In addition to his healthcare focus, Mr. Campbell maintains a commercial litigation practice, representing business owners in complex, multi-party litigation.
Prior to, and while attending law school, Mr. Campbell worked for almost ten years as an emergency medical technician in a Dallas area emergency department. He has extensive clinical experience in providing patient care which he commonly uses as a resource in his legal practice. While in law school, Mr. Campbell was accepted into the Hofstra University Study Abroad Program, wherein Mr. Campbell studied Separation of Powers and International Law under the direct teaching of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in Sorrento, Italy. Immediately after completing law school, Mr. Campbell joined the firm Schell Cooley LLP. In 2016 he was made partner, and the following year he was honored to become a name partner of Schell Cooley Campbell LLP. In 2017, Mr. Campbell was voted by his peers to be a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star. He has also been named Consumer of the Year by the Texas Nurses Association for his service and work in the healthcare community; he participates annually as a presenter at the Texas Nurses Association Mock Trial program; and has been a featured speaker for nursing educators regarding health care liability law in Texas.
